BcMagIon-exchange Magnetic Beads
Ion-Exchange Magnetic Beads  are uniform, silica-coated superparamagnetic beads specifically designed, tested and quality
controlled for quick fractionation of proteins or peptides from complex biological samples (such as serum, plasma, etc.)
manually or automatically.

Beads Selection:  A charged protein or peptide will bind to an oppositely charged matrix. If the pI (Iso-electric Point) of the target
protein or peptide is below the pH of the buffer, anion exchange magnetic beads (BcMag™ WAX (Weak Anion Exchange) or
BcMag™ SAX (Strong Anion Exchange) magnetic beads should be selected.  If the pI of the target protein or peptide is above
the pH of the buffer, the cation exchange magnetic beads BcMag™ WCX (Weak Cation Exchange) or BcMag™ SCX (Strong
Cation Exchange) should be selected. (Fig.1)
